Platform Role: Middleman Broker Only

My Garage Loot is a peer-to-peer marketplace broker. We facilitate connections between buyers and sellers but make NO GUARANTEES on transactions. We do not guarantee item functionality, condition, authenticity, or legality. All items are sold "as-is" with absolutely NO money-back guarantee from us.

We believe in buyer and seller matching. Disputes are between you and the other party. We only act as a middleman platform.

1. Our Role: Middleman Broker

My Garage Loot ("Platform") is a peer-to-peer marketplace broker. Our sole role is to provide a digital platform for buyers and sellers to connect and conduct transactions directly with each other. We are NOT:

  • A seller or buyer in any transaction
  • Responsible for verifying item condition or functionality
  • Liable for disputes between users
  • Providing any guarantee, warranty, or money-back protection
  • Responsible for user safety or transaction outcomes

We match buyers and sellers. What happens next is between you and them.

2. No Money-Back Guarantee

We provide ZERO money-back guarantee on any transactions.

Once you and another user exchange money, the Platform has no obligation to refund, reverse, or mediate the transaction. This is a peer-to-peer marketplace where you transact directly with other users at your own risk.

Exceptions (Rare):

The only scenarios where we may investigate are: (1) Fraudulent activity involving the Platform itself (e.g., account hacking), (2) Payment processing errors made by our payment processor, or (3) Illegal activity requiring law enforcement involvement. Even in these cases, we make no promises of refunds.

3. All Items Sold As-Is

Every item listed on the Platform is sold in its current condition ("as-is"). Sellers make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  • • Functionality or operational status
  • • Completeness or missing parts
  • • Cosmetic condition or defects
  • • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • • Merchantability or legality
  • • Authenticity or originality

Buyers are 100% responsible for inspecting items before purchase and verifying all details with sellers. If you don't like it after buying, that's your responsibility, not ours.

4. Optional Buyer Protection Program

Buyer Protection Available (If You Use Our Payment System)

If you use My Garage Loot's official payment system to complete a purchase, you may be eligible for optional buyer protection coverage.

What Buyer Protection Covers:

  • • Item not received (seller doesn't deliver)
  • • Item significantly not as described (major misrepresentation)
  • • Unauthorized transactions (account compromise)

What Buyer Protection Does NOT Cover:

  • • Change of mind or buyer's remorse
  • • Minor cosmetic defects or normal wear
  • • Items sold "as-is" with known defects
  • • Disputes over item condition (unless grossly misrepresented)
  • • Transactions completed outside the Platform

Important:

Buyer protection is optional and may require a small fee. It only applies to purchases made through our official payment system. If you meet outside the Platform or use other payment methods, you have NO protection from us.

5. Your Responsibility

By using the Platform, you accept full responsibility for:

  • Verifying item condition and functionality before purchase
  • All risks associated with meeting other users
  • Your personal safety during exchanges
  • Compliance with all applicable laws
  • Disputes with other users (we don't mediate)
  • Any financial losses from transactions

6. Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from:

  • • Selling stolen, counterfeit, or illegal items
  • • Misrepresenting item condition or functionality
  • • Engaging in fraud or deception
  • • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
  • • Meeting in unsafe or isolated locations
  • • Conducting transactions involving weapons or drugs
  • • Violating local, state, or federal laws

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

My Garage Loot and its operators are NOT liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • • Use or inability to use the Platform
  • • Transactions between users
  • • Item condition or functionality
  • • Personal injury or property damage
  • • Loss of money or data
  • • Unauthorized access to user accounts
  • • User disputes or disagreements

You use this Platform entirely at your own risk.

8. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between buyers and sellers are NOT our responsibility. We do not:

  • • Mediate disputes between users
  • • Arbitrate disagreements
  • • Reverse transactions
  • • Force refunds or returns
  • • Hold funds in escrow

If you have a dispute with another user, you must resolve it directly with them or through legal channels. We are a platform, not a mediator.

9. Safe Exchange Practices (Recommended)

While we don't guarantee anything, we strongly encourage safe practices:

  • • Meet in public, well-lit locations
  • • Bring a trusted companion
  • • Inspect items thoroughly before payment
  • • Use secure payment methods
  • • Trust your instincts

I understand that My Garage Loot is a middleman broker platform with NO guarantees. I accept that:

  • • We make NO money-back guarantee on any transactions
  • • All items are sold "as-is" with no warranty
  • • We don't mediate or resolve disputes
  • • I'm responsible for my own safety and due diligence
  • • Optional buyer protection only applies if using our payment system

By continuing to use this platform, you accept these terms in full.
